Para satisfazer ao pedido de amigos e corrigir as deformidades que se
encontram nalgumas copias, imprimo agora as modestas quadras que
principiaram a ser conhecidas sob o titulo de _Canções d'Amor_, por me
ser impossivel publioar de momento o livro que conterá, além das
modernas, as principaes composições dos meus volumes de versos, que de
ha muito não apparecem no mercado.
